Syria Untold is a digital archive and aggregator of creative contents associated to the civic movement and civil-society building in Syria.

  • Ars Electronica Prix: Jury member – Digital Communities category

  • RedLab Latino: Consultant on the use of digital and collaborative tools for a network of artists from Latin American countries. Project financed by the Spanish Ministry of Culture.

  • Bidna Capoeira: NGO devoted to social inclusion through sports based in Syria. I developed their online communication strategy, contributed to building their online community and trained staff and volunteers in the use of collaborative tools.

  • Campus Party Millennium Granada: I was in charge of designing the program and contents related to human rights, social media and citizen empowerment on the special edition focusing on the Mediterranean.

Correspondent, Global Voices Online; 2011-present

  • Arab Bloggers Meeting: Member of the steering committee of the 2014 edition.

  • Global Voices’ Advocacy project: I represented the Middle East and North Africa constituency at the Policy Advocacy committee.

  • Tutor for the Global Voices’ Blogger Swarm Mentorship initiative, that aims to help activists from all over the world improve their blogging skills while getting comfortable with using digital tools for collaborative work and online networking.
